STC has been honored with the Customer Services Excellence Award by Global Telecom Business. The award was received by engineer Mohammed bin Abdulaziz AL Haqbani, GM of STC Network Solutions in the ceremony held in London. The award had been granted to STC for its delivery of complete and innovative telecom solutions enabling its customers get new and special services that keep up with the rapid pace of information era across the globe through its service delivery framework.
Winning of this award by STC was a testament of its consistent efforts to provide the technical solutions applied within the Service Delivery Framework through which it directly contributed in launching several mobile broadband services and activated interface with content providers which reduced customer complaints. The system also played a significant role in launching and enhancing mobile broadband services delivered to customers via the United User Experience. STC Group operates LTE- 4G & 3G networks, which boosts the abilities of the Group to satisfy the customer needs for accessing the internet and global access lines in a way that enables it to continue assuming a strong competitive position in the broadband area especially with the increased 3G and 4G network coverage.
It is to be noted that the technical innovation prize was established under the sponsorship of Global Telecom Business for telecom service providers in 2007. It caters for innovative projects of the telecom service and system providers and suppliers around the world.
